A tradition about as old as the town itself, the annual Wright Days celebration returns starting Friday.

Completely free to the public, the festival takes on the form of five separate events:

- Demolition derby: 7 p.m. Friday

- Mud bog: 2 p.m. Saturday

- Concert: Country band The Lost Trailers, 7 p.m. Saturday

- Kids fishing derby: 8 a.m. Sunday

- Tractor pull: 11 a.m. Sunday

Locations vary, but the bulk of the activity takes place off of Highway 387 within the town’s limits. Signs will be available to direct revelers to each event.

For more information on Wright Days, call the town’s Chamber of Commerce at 464-1312.
