Three of the governmental entities in the community are expected to give raises in the coming fiscal year:
- The City Council agreed to a cost-of-living increase of 2 percent, and kept its merit-based system of 1, 3 and 5 percent raises. All told, the average rate increase will be 4.6 percent, which will bump up the city’s personnel costs by about $1.1 million to about $25.1 million annually.
