The Gillette Astronomical Society (GAS) is an astronomy club based in Gillette, WY. The purpose of this club is to explore the world we live in and our place in the universe. The club is community based which means anyone is welcome. Members of the club decide the actions and directions of the club. You don’t need to know anything about astronomy to join. All you need is a desire to have fun, meet new people, learn new skills, and it helps if you like space. If you are interested in learning more about GAS or becoming a member please contact Vanessa Parkinson at vparkinson@ccsd.k12.wy.us, Paul Zeleski at pzeleski@ccsd.k12.wy.us, or come to one of our regular meetings.
