CHEYENNE, Wyo. - Interstate 25 between Cheyenne and Casper has reopened but blowing snow and black ice are still making for hazardous travel conditions in parts of Wyoming.

I-25 was shut down Tuesday night and remained closed into Wednesday morning. It was reopened by 9 a.m. but snow and blowing snow was making travel difficult.

I-80 eastbound between Cheyenne and Nebraska remained closed because the interstate is closed in Nebraska.

U.S. 85 between Cheyenne and Torrington and Wyoming 59 between Douglas and the Campbell County line remain closed.

The Wyoming Department of Transportation says many roads remain slick and hazardous. Conditions should improve west to east as warmer weather moves in.
