War veteran sounds taps in honor of America's veterans. He says a taped recording just won't do

They are just 24 notes that come from Gary Rye’s bugle as the sun sets behind the Big Horn Mountains to the west of his home. But they are an important part of his life.

As a nearby American flag flapped quietly in the breeze Wednesday night, a mournful tune echoed between nearby hills and out over Highway 50 as a pickup streamed past.
