Unorthodox style works both in the classroom and on the field for Matson

From school rap star to unorthodox teaching styles, Carl Matson will use any tool at his disposal to reach his sixth-grade students in Campbell County.

For that effort, Matson was honored as a Peabody Energy’s Leader in Education award winner Tuesday afternoon at Meadowlark Elementary in Gillette.
