Wyoming native to present second historical novel

Author Karen Schutte will be signing her latest novel, "Seed of the Volga," at Hastings from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 17.

The book is based on the true story of Schutte's family, capturing the chilling tale of her ancestors' journey to the German settlements along the Volga River in Russia.
