Dale Lee Remmick

Funeral services for Dale Lee Remmick, 38, of Lincoln, Neb., will be at noon Saturday at Zabka Funeral Home in Seward, Neb., with the Rev. Mike of the Rock Church officiating.

Mr. Remmick died Friday, April 19, 2013, of a double massive stroke to the brain.

He was born May 17, 1974, to Robert and Theresa Remmick in Incirlik Adana, Turkey. As a young child, he moved to Gillette with his family and attended Campbell County schools.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and causing mischief. He found pleasure in tormenting whomever he was around at the time. No matter how ornery he was, he had the biggest heart one could have. If anyone was in need of anything, he would drop whatever he was doing to make it happen. He was a definite people person who would befriend anybody. He would talk for hours on end to anyone about anything. He had a huge love for animals, especially cats. He also had a very strong love for children as they did for him.

Mr. Remmick enjoyed camping, fishing, mountain bike riding and anything outdoors.

Mr. Remmick's final days were spent with his family surrounding him. Although his life was cut short, he was able to live it to the fullest, savoring and cherishing every moment. He understood the quality of life and knew that quality of life exceeded the amount of years lived on this planet.

He is survived by his wife, Nicki Beenblossom Remmick; his father, Robert Remmick; his sisters, Brenda Remmick and Tessie Watson; and his brother, Trey Watson.

He is preceded in death by a nephew.
