Memorial services for Rebekah Suzanne Michelena will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Gillette Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Dave Stene of First Baptist Church officiating.

Mrs. Michelena, 37, of Gillette died Friday, March 15, 2013, at her home after a long battle with multiple sclerosis.

She married Jason Michelena on March 3, 2000. After working as a certified nursing assistant and multiple other professions, she settled into her true profession, raising her two daughters: Jacelynn and Hannah. She loved being a mom, going to her daughters’ events, camping and sharing time with her family.

Even while battling multiple sclerosis for years, she managed to keep in good spirits, and remained a great wife and mother to the end.

Mrs. Michelena is survived by her husband, Jason Michelena of Gillette; two daughters, Jacelynn and Hannah Michelena, both of Gillette; parents Rodney and Joan of Milan, Mo.; siblings; and grandparents.
