5400 BLOCK HIGHWAY 450: At 6:29 Saturday morning, a Black Thunder coal mine plant superintendent told deputies that there had been three people riding on coal trains that almost got buried by coal. The three people told the superintendent that they lived in Wright, and two appeared to be intoxicated. The three left on foot, but were contacted by the Sheriff’s Office. All three — a 46-year-old man, 35-year-old woman and her 17-year-old son — were ticketed for trespassing, Sheriff’s Sgt. Janaia Muller said. The mother also was ticketed for reckless endangerment.
