200 BLOCK WESTHILLS LOOP: A 28-year-old man was ticketed for larceny Wednesday morning after he admitted to police that he had stolen a collector’s set of BluRay discs from his neighbor’s porch after it was delivered to her home. The 23-year-old woman called police after the discs were stolen. The woman explained to officers that the discs were missing, but she knew who took them. That’s because the man had sold the set to Hasting’s Entertainment, where she works, the day he took them. After admitting the theft to police, the man tried to explain that the incident was an “accident,” Police Sgt. Eric Dearcorn said.
