University of Wyoming wrestlers defeated Northern Colorado 34-10 Wednesday in a Western Wrestling Conference dual.
The victory was the 25th conference dual win for Wyoming coach Mark Branch and the 20th in a row over the Bears dating back to 1993.
The Cowboys improved to 2-1 on the road, 3-1 in WWC action and 8-4 overall this season.
Gillette sophomore Tyler Cox (26-7) earned a fall at 4:22 over Abe Fox at 125 pounds to give Wyoming a 27-7 edge.
Andy McCulley of Rock Springs, ranked 13th in the nation at 157, also won by a fall in just 48 seconds to open the dual, setting the tone for the Cowboys. McCulley leads Wyoming with 11 pins this season and notched his 24th win.
The Cowboys will get a break from competition until Feb. 17, when they compete in the NWCA National Duals in Columbia, Mo.
