POWELL, Wyo. — The Park County sheriff's office has identified the three members of a family who were fatally shot in a home in the tiny northwestern Wyoming town of Clark.
Sheriff Scott A. Steward said in a statement Sunday that the bodies were identified as 40-year-old Ildiko Freitas, and her parents, Janos Volgyessi and Hildegard Volgyessi. Janos was 69, and his wife was 70.
The sheriff's office says two teens from Cody have been arrested in the deaths. Nineteen-year-old Stephen Hammer and 18-year-old Tanner Vanpelt remain held in the Park County Detention Center and will be charged Tuesday.
The sheriff says the two were caught following witnesses who described two cars fleeing the home Saturday.
