Airmen return to Ellsworth after duty

RAPID CITY — About 200 airmen have returned to Ellsworth Air Force Base after about six months overseas.
The airmen served in southwest Asia, helping with surveillance and munitions. They were met Sunday night by hundreds of family members and others.
More personnel will be arriving home at the southwest South Dakota base later in the week. About 350 airmen were deployed earlier this month to take the place of those coming home.
