Memorial services for Amanda “Mandi” Caillier will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church with deacon Kim Carroll officiating.

She died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at Campbell County Memorial Hospital of diabetes complications.

Amanda Marie Caillier was born April 7, 1979, in Custer, S.D., to Ronald and Cyndi (Mitich) Caillier. She grew up and attended school in Newcastle and graduated from Newcastle High School in 1997. Following graduation, she was employed at various flower shops. In June she moved to Gillette and was employed as a nanny.

Her biggest joy in life was her 6-year-old son, Corbin, now in kindergarten. She loved books and visits to the library, collecting coins, sports cards, jewelry, antiques, and she rarely missed a good yard sale. She also loved the holidays and spending them with her family.

She is survived by her parents, Ron Caillier of Gillette and Cyndi Caillier of Newcastle; her son, Corbin of Gillette; brothers, Gabriel Caillier of Spearfish, S.D., Tom Caillier and Joey Caillier of Hawaii; several aunts, uncles and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tom and Judy Mitich, Merry and Norm Caillier; and her aunt, Cindy Hauge.

Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Boyd Cemetery in Four Corners.

Memorials are suggested to benefit her son Corbin. Memorials and condolences may be sent in her name to Walker Funeral Home, 410 Medical Arts Court, Gillette, WY 82716 or First State Bank, P.O. BOX 910, Newcastle, WY 82701. Condolences also may be sent via the tribute site at www.gillettememorialchapel.com or attached to the obituary on the News Record’s website at www.gillettenewsrecord.com.
