Arlene M. Edwards, 83, of Gillette, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church with Rev. Raymond Canete officiating. Burial will follow at Savageton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Gillette Memorial Chapel with a 7 p.m. vigil.
Mrs. Edwards was born Oct. 29, 1929, in Gillette to Harlie E. and Leona H. (Schlautmann) Cosner. She attended schools in Campbell County and graduated from Campbell County High School in 1949.
She married Darrell J. Edwards on June 14, 1951, in Gillette. They had three daughters and six sons. She enjoyed ranching, gardening, crafts, crocheting, quilting and reading.
Mrs. Edwards is survived by her children, Darrell “Joedy” J. Edwards II, Roy H. Edwards, Glenn “Bob” R. Edwards, Dennis L. Edwards, Donna Packard, Orin R. Edwards and Marc L. Edwards all of Gillette, Anna M Hanson of Riverton, Reana M. Suedekum of Covington, Va.; two brothers, Ted R. Cosner of Gillette and James W. Cosner of Akron, Colo.; a sister, Lola Cosner of Gillette; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Dean and two grandchildren.
