Audrey L. Crockett, 84, of Upton died at Weston County Health Services in Newcastle of unknown causes Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012.

Memorial Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Lighthouse Assembly of God on Church Street in Upton.

Mrs. Crockett was born May 12, 1928, and raised in Wayne County, Ill. There she met and married her first love, Maurice “Tiny” Musgrave, on Sept. 15, 1944. They shared 24 years of marriage and raised two children, a son, Richard and a daughter, Glenna, before his death Dec. 24, 1968.

She was a devoted, loving wife, an extraordinarily patient, kind and loving mother. She enjoyed anything that involved family and friends being together, had an incredible way with flowers and plants of all kinds, did beautiful needlework and was a faithful friend to anyone she encountered.

In 1976, she met, fell in love with and married L. Dale Crockett, gaining two more daughters, Sue and Carol. They shared 37 years of marriage.

She was employed at the Washakie Hotel & Restaurant in Worland as the hostess. Later, she was employed at Ricker’s Pharmacy until her retirement.

After retirement, the couple moved to Tensleep Canyon during the spring and summer months and Grove, Okla., during the fall and winter months until 2007, when they moved to Upton to be near her children.

She is survived by her husband, Dale Crockett; daughter, Glenna Riehemann of Upton; her brothers, Bobbie Smith of Fairfield, Ill., Gary Smith of Cisne, Ill., Jack Smith of Wayne City, Ill., Tommy Smith of Fairfield, Ill.; a sister, Dolores Ellis of Bluford, Ill.; stepdaughters, Sue Carlisle, of Billings, Mont., and Carol Crockett, of Helena, Mont.; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Maurice Musgrave, her son Richard Musgrave and her parents Flora and Flick Smith.
