Brook Bahnson, the current chairman for Campbell County Memorial Hospital trustees, has stopped his bid for re-election to the board. He was one of nine candidates running for three open seats in the Nov. 6 election.
Bahnson, who had served one term on the board, cited personal reasons Friday for deciding to drop out of the race.
While Bahnson is no longer running, his name will still appear on the ballot, said Cyndi Silbaugh, the Campbell County elections clerk. Ballots already have been printed.
Silbaugh said the votes will still be tallied for Bahnson, but since he has officially dropped out, he couldn’t win even if he got the most votes.
Is this because of the huge debate and negative attention for his HUGE bonus? I bet it was! Friday, October 5, 2012|Report this
Oh for crying out loud. Brook did NOT get a bonus, he's a board member. The bonus went to the CEO, Bob Morasko.
