A memorial service for Barbara Hoffman will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at Gillette Memorial Chapel with Kenna Rose as celebrant.

Barbara Gail Hoffman, 85, of Gillette, Wyo., passed away on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at Campbell County Memorial Hospital of natural causes.

Barbara Hoffman was born in Miles City, Mont., on Sept. 17, 1927, to Almon and Florence Hatton Hall. She grew up in Alzada, Mont., and attended high school in Ekalaka, Mont.

Barbara married Clinton Hoffman on Jan. 25, 1947. They were owner/operators of a cattle and sheep ranch in Alzada. She and Clinton became foster parents to Dewilton Whitney and in 1955, were blessed with twin daughters to this union of marriage. In 1964, they sold their ranch and moved to Belle Fourche, S.D., where they owned and operated a farm equipment business until 1975 when they moved to Gillette, Wyo., to be near their children and families. Her life was her children, grandchildren, family and friends.

Barbara is survived by her foster son, Dewilton (Karen) Whitney of Casper, Wyo.; twin daughters: Linda Ducello of Gillette, Wyo., and Lana (Les) Zadina of Ogallala, Neb.; five grandchildren: Ginger Villmow, Ryan(Emily) Villmow, Brice (Ashley) Villmow, Jodi (Dave) Smith and Jay (Jami) Johnson all of Gillette, Wyo.; eight great-grandchildren: Lexi, Desmond, and Donavon Medina, Caiden and Ashtyn Villmow, Devin and Jayden Smith and Adelyn Johnson; nephew, Larry (Mary) Hall of Helena, Mont., and numerous great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers: Curtis Hall and Newman Hall and sister Evelyn King, nephew Curt Hall, nieces: Gaylene Hall and Louise Porter.
