Boat ramp at Meadowlark Lake closes for work

BUFFALO — A boat ramp at Meadowlark Lake, between Ten Sleep and Buffalo, will be closed starting Wednesday to allow crews to work on construction of a wetland area.
Cody Beers of the Wyoming Department of Transportation says the work will take about two weeks to complete. Construction of the wetland is part of an ongoing, $8.2-million highway improvement project on U.S. 16, east of Ten Sleep in Washakie County.
Dan McAfee is resident engineer with the Wyoming Department of Transportation in Worland. He says that during the project, anglers and others must find other ways to access the lake.
