Bond set at $200,000 for survivor in 11-hour Casper motel standoff

CASPER — Casper police are confirming a standoff at a Super 8 motel ended with one suspect dead and another suspect in custody.
Jacob Alan Dziewic, 20, is being held on charges of felonious restraint, aggravated assault and possession of a deadly weapon with unlawful intent. His bond was set at $200,000 Wednesday.
The other suspect’s identity and cause of death weren’t immediately disclosed.
The standoff Tuesday lasted nearly 11 hours and ended after officers tossed undisclosed “chemical agents” into a room where the suspects had holed up.
Three males and one female were taken hostage. No hostages were hurt.
Police are trying to determine what prompted the standoff.
