CASPER, Wyo. — Bond for a halfway house escapee in Casper has been set at $250,000.
Ryan Burgess faces a new charge of felony escape after failing to return to the Casper Re-entry Center on Oct. 10.
Police say an officer who came across Burgess early Oct. 12 fired at him after Burgess allegedly drew a semiautomatic weapon. Burgess was shot in the arm.
The Casper Star-Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/TWABpD) bond for Burgess set at a court hearing Monday.
