Camels defeat Evanston, prepare for Sheridan

The Gillette Camel football team defeated the Evanston Red Devils 42-16 Friday at CCHS North Campus Stadium in the opening round of the Class 4A playoffs.
Gillette kept the Red Devils scoreless through three quarters, caused six turnovers and went into halftime with a 28-0 lead.
The Camels host Sheridan next week in the Class 4A semifinals. They beat the Broncs 21-18 Sept. 28 during the regular season.
