CHEYENNE — The second annual Wyoming Summit on Community Colleges is scheduled to be held Tuesday in Casper.
This year’s summit will feature four of the nation’s foremost experts on reforming remedial education efforts and improving college completion rates.
The summit is sponsored by the Wyoming Association of Community College Trustees.
Association Executive Director Steve Bahmer says the need to improve college completion rates is both a major economic issue for students and the country, and a major public policy issue for legislators.
Bahmer says the experts coming to the summit will help Wyoming explore what it can do to make sure its students are ready for college and ready for the workforce when they graduate.
