Gillette Community Theatre will offer a show aimed at adults on June 29 and June 30.
The 2012 Theatre Night will take place at 7 p.m. in the Wyoming Room of the Campbell County Public Library. Tickets will be $6 each or $10 for two at the door.
Actors will perform three one-act plays by nationally know writers, including “Portrait Without A Face” by 2000 Campbell County High School graduate Lucas Studle, based on the 1944 radio drama by Louis Palatier.
The other two acts will include “Sure Thing” by David Ives and “For Whom the Southern Bell Tolls” by Christopher Durang.
The plays are designed for mature audiences only because of strong language and adult situations.
“It’s kind of a date night,” said Johann Tuttle of Gillette Community Theatre. “We’re trying something new, an adult-geared show.”
Although aimed at adults, the plays will offer some comedy, she added.
