JONATHON R. KNIGHT, 24, 601 Country Club Road #601, changed his plea Nov. 6 to guilty of possession of hydrocodone. In a plea agreement, prosecutors will recommend a two- to four-year sentence, suspended in favor of four years of supervised probation. He also must successfully complete treatment at Wyoming Recovery Systems. He was pulled over for speeding on Interstate 90 at about midnight July 6. A deputy found a prescription pill bottle with a woman’s name on it containing 17 hydrocodone pills, according to court documents. District Judge John R. Perry ordered a pre-sentence investigation.
JOSEPH DEAN BRADLEY, 38, 24 Blackbird Road, was sentenced Nov. 6 to two to five years in prison (728 days credit), for possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver. District Judge Michael N. “Nick” Deegan also fined him $1,065 and recommended his placement in the Intensive Treatment program. In March, Bradley was pulled over because he didn’t have a rear license plate and it was discovered there was a warrant for his arrest on a delivery charge. In his vehicle, officers found different containers with a total of about 6 grams of meth, a scale and paraphernalia, according to court documents.
JESSE DAVID JENSEN, 31, 600 S. Garner Lake Road lot 87, was sentenced Oct. 24 to three to five years in prison for delivery of methamphetamine. Deegan suspended the sentence in favor of 66 days in jail to run concurrently with a Weston County conviction, then five years of supervised probation. He also must complete the Volunteers of America residential and non-residential substance abuse treatment programs. Deegan also fined him $1,095 and ordered him to pay $400 in restitution.
FAILURE TO REGISTER
MARLO DEAN SYRING, 43, was sentenced to two to four years in prison (credit for 69 days served) for failure to register as a sex offender when District Judge Dan R. Price II convicted him Oct. 24 of violating his probation. The probation had been granted Aug. 1 after Syring failed to provide new addresses to the Sheriff’s Office several times. Syring originally was convicted in 1995 in Sheridan on taking immoral or indecent acts. Price ordered the sentence to be consecutive to a Circuit Court interference conviction.
Fines include any order to pay court costs, a contribution to the Crime Victim’s Compensation Fund and attorney fees.
