Dennis Greub, 71, of Gillette died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at his home.
Mr. Greub was born Jan. 1, 1942, in Sheridan, to Charles Ernest and Ethel (Woodsmall) Greub Jr.
After graduating from Sheridan High School in 1960, he joined the Navy and served from 1960 to 1972. He married Caroline Deutsch in 1960. She passed away in 1968. He later married Twyla King in 1971 and they had two children.
He worked for the Federal Prison System from 1974 to 1984. He then went to work for the Department of Defense from 1984 until his retirement in 1994. After living in Ranchester for several years, he moved to Gillette in 2011 until his death. He enjoyed video games, television, playing cards, motorcycle riding, and fishing.
He is survived by his children, Heather Timmers of Medford, Wis., and Dennis Greub Jr. of Gillette; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his first wife Caroline, his parents; brother, Gerry and sister, Cheryl.
Graveside services for Mr. Greub were Saturday at the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery with full military honors.
