Festival of Trees events are at Cam-plex Energy Hall
Friday
Senior citizens get the chance to view the beauty of the festival. Lifeline subscribers are honored each year during an invitation-only luncheon at the Festival on Senior Day.
Gillette Rotary Night Club has sponsored the luncheon for many years. Rotarian members and Festival of Tree Steering Committee will serve at the luncheon.
Primrose Retirement Center provides each guest with a gift and the Gillette Chamber Singers and Red Hatters will provide entertainment
The Festival Gift Shop will be open and silent auction items will be on display.
5 to 9 p.m.: Festival kick-off, sponsored by Cloud Peak Energy.
Families can stroll through the largest selection of trees, wreaths and elf trees in the history of the festival. Children can visit with Santa from 6 to 8 p.m. and get their Christmas picture taken. Cookies, cocoa and hot cider will be served. Day one will wrap up at 9 p.m.
Saturday
The day starts at 9 a.m. This is your opportunity to walk among the trees before the auction. The doors will close at 3 p.m. in preparation for VIP Appreciation, which begins at 5 p.m. Tickets for the event are $20. Doors will open to the public at 7 p.m. and the auction begins at 7:15 p.m. Silent auction tables will begin closing at 7:30 p.m.
Sunday
Santa Claus will be available to get those treasured wishes in. Photos with Santa will be taken from 2 to 4 p.m. for a nominal fee by Specialty Photography.
Family Day activities and games will be for all ages. Teachers Corner-Kid’s Mart has donated a raffle item this year. The drawing is at 5 p.m. You need not be present to win.
