Foothills Theater goes 3-D just in time for re-release of ‘Finding Nemo’

Movies just got better in Gillette. Foothills Theater has upgraded two of its screens to show 3-D movies. To show 3-D films, the theater needed a separate lens for its projector and had to switch to all-digital equipment, said manager Rod Schaefer. Each 3-D projector costs about $75,000. Considering the shift to all digital movies, Schaefer said, the switch was necessary.
