Forest Service lifts closure in Horsethief Canyon

JACKSON, Wyo. — The Jackson Ranger District has lifted its closure order for the Horsethief Canyon fire area.
The Forest Service closed the area in early September but with snow and winter weather on the way, the agency has lifted the closure order.
The agency says all trails within the Snow King and Game Creek areas are now open for recreation until December 1, when other regulations governing winter wildlife range take effect.
