CASPER — Two former inmates at a juvenile detention center in Casper have settled lawsuits alleging detention center staff ordered them to clean the blood of another child who had attempted suicide.
The lawsuits accused Frontier Correctional Systems Inc., the private operator of the Natrona County juvenile detention center, of subjecting them to unsafe conditions.
The Casper Star-Tribune reports recent court filings show the lawsuits have been settled. The court filings did not reveal terms of the settlements.
The plaintiffs also alleged they saw a high-risk inmate sexually attack two children while they were all housed in the same cell at the facility
