Gillette college signs on power forward

Darius Scott, a 6-foot-6, 240-pound power forward from Atlanta, has signed his letter of intent and will be the newest member of the 2012-2013 Gillette College men’s basketball program.
Scott is a 2012 graduate of Atlanta International High School and averaged 20 points and 14 rebounds a game his senior season. He ranked in the top 10 in the state of Georgia in both scoring and rebounding his senior season.
Scott was a two-time, first-team all-state, all-region and all-city selection. He also owns the career school scoring record at Atlanta International, scoring over 2,000 points during his varsity career.
