Mrs. Marion Campbell announced yesterday that The Quality Shop has been remodeled completely, giving it an air of distinction that is seldom found anywhere but in the large cities. Attractive cases have been arranged along each wall with fitting and alteration rooms conveniently placed. In connection with the remodeling of the interior of the store, Mrs. Campbell announced Gillette’s first fur coat sale, which will take place next Tuesday, Aug. 11.

A lengthy discussion was held on the selection of a building during the Elks meeting July 31. No action will be taken until the Aug. 14 meeting. All members are urged to attend the August meeting as committees will be set up to organize the institution of the new Lodge in September. Dana Beaudry, Al Fullenwider and Ralph Freeman will go to Worland on Aug. 26 to attend the new district deputy’s fall clinic, which will outline the local program for the coming year. The next meeting of the Elks will be Aug. 14 at 8 p.m. at the Catholic Parish Hall. All members are urged to come and bring a friend.

During the heavy lightning storm early last week, 13 small fires were reported in the Blacks Hills National Forest near Sundance. One occurred near the Devils Tower and was extinguished by a crew there. Other were on Table Mountain, Cow Ccreek, Road Canyon Creek, Miller Creek, Barlow Canyon, Redwater Creek, and the Tom Zimmerschied place.
