Its a big win for the County if the tax is put into place. This allows businesses and travelers to help pay for the water system. Our current water system is maxed out and we need more water to grow and to provide more services It truly does benefit the entire county. I live outside of the City of Gillette. I get my water from a regional water system. I want to have a connection to the new madison project made with the tax money, as opposed to later funding it out of pocket. WWDC and SLIB will no longer give asisstance to rural districts like Sleepy Hollow, Antelope Valley, Heritage Village etc to help repair their wells. The entire burden will be born by the residents of the subdivisions. With the cap tax in place, the connections can be made and water is just the turn of a valve away in the event our wells fail. Also, blending water could increase the life of our wells and actually improve water quality.

We are providing water for the future, and not placing the burden on our children for the next 30 years. The Cap Tax is definately the best way to go to pay off this loan! Thursday, April 28, 2011|Report this
