Funeral services for Jeanette Lorraine Hildebrand will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Family Life Church with the Rev. Martin Crump officiating.
Burial will follow in Mount Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Gillette Memorial Chapel.
Mrs. Hildebrand, 75, of Gillette died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at Close to Home Hospice Hospitality House of complications from COPD.
She was born Feb. 26, 1937, at Agar, S.D., to Iris D. (Fox) and Edward G. Tobin. She attended Sully County Schools and Agar High School in South Dakota.
She married Raymond Eugene Wagner on Nov. 15, 1954, at Pierre, S.D. They were later divorced.
She worked for Brandon Valley Schools in Brandon, S.D., and was the maintenance superintendent at Minnehaha County Public Safety Building in Sioux Falls, S.D. She later moved to Gillette, where she was the manager of Gambles Furniture in Gillette and maintenance supervisor at Campbell County Parks and Recreation Department in Gillette.
She married Leslie K. Hildebrand on Feb. 10, 1990, in Gillette.
Mrs. Hildebrand was a member of the Gentian Chapter #23 and served as worthy matron from 1998-1999, American Legion Auxiliary, Gillette AARP, Family Life Church and First Presbyterian Church. She was Campbell County Employee of the Year in 1996 and Campbell County Park and Recreation Department Employee of the Year in 1989. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, and her flowers.
She leaves behind three sons, Bill Wagner of Brandon, S.D., Ken Wagner of Gillette and Monte Wagner of Casper; two sisters, Audrey Mathews of Draper, S.D., and Sharon Lee of Clearwater, Minn.; one brother, Robert Tobin of Stone Mountain, Ga.; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her one daughter, Marlene in 2006, and one great-granddaughter, Lilly.
