CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The United States attorney for Wyoming says his office will be handling any complaints about election fraud or voting rights abuses in next month's election.
U.S. Attorney Christopher "Kip" Crofts says that lawyer Stephanie I. Sprecher of his office will lead the effort to address any election problems. The Justice Department has a nationwide program to protect the voting process.
Crofts says every citizen must be able to vote without interference or discrimination and to have their vote counted. He says the Justice Department will act aggressively to protect the integrity of the election process.
