CHEYENNE — A transient man is accused of hiding out in the cooler of a Cheyenne liquor store cooler so he could drink for free afterhours.
Police say surveillance camera footage shows 27-year-old Sean A. Moore entering the cooler at DT’s Liquor Mart at 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The store closed a half hour later and soon afterward he was shown leaving the cooler and walking throughout the store.
The Wyoming Tribune Eagle reported that employees found open containers of alcohol the next day.
Police identified Moore from the surveillance video and went looking for him. It turns out he was already in jail because a few hours after leaving the cooler, he was arrested for making harassing calls to 911 dispatchers.
He’s charged with misdemeanor shoplifting.
