Marion Mark Bundy, 80, of Gillette died Friday, Aug. 17, 2012, at Campbell County Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Gillette April 7, 1932, to Mark and Lois (Sutherland) Bundy. He grew up with his three sisters, Louise, Arlene, and Judy, and attended school in Gillette.

Marion married Louise Matlack on July 21, 1957, in Gillette and to this union four children were born, Dave, Janice, Tom, and Mike.

Marion spent his early working years driving a fuel truck for Farmers Coop, installing flooring for Ryan’s Furniture, and working for and later owning the Husky Truck Stop. He spent the greatest part of his working years with the Campbell County School District driving a school bus and working in the warehouse.

Marion was a charter member of the Pronghorn Archery club.

He enjoyed listening to and watching sporting events, especially those with his children and grandchildren playing in them. He spent many years playing, coaching, and umpiring baseball and softball games. He was an avid hunter and spent many years at elk camp. Marion greatly enjoyed sitting quietly (or not so quietly) during the many family gatherings that happened at the home he and his wife created. He took such pride in his family and his many close friends.

Marion is survived by his wife of 55 years, Louise; his children, Dave (Marcia) Bundy, Janice Hauber (Pat Cuffe), Tom Bundy, and Mike (Kris) Bundy; his grandchildren, Hope (Whitney) Lyon, Lynn (James) Sweet, Ashley Hauber (Jason Lotter), Angel (Joey) Leegaard, Kimberly Bundy (Alex Holstein), Derek Hauber (Bre Hochnadel), and Bradly Bundy; his great-grandchildren, Sydalee, Josiah, Saydee, Allison, Brandon, Ira, Marcus, Olivia, and Adelina, all of Gillette; sisters, Arlene Denny of Laramie and Judy (Morris) Graber of Sioux City, S.D.; brother-in-law, Don Dickey and numerous other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Margie B. Bundy (infant) and Louise Dickey, brother-in-law, Ed Denny.

Memorials are suggested to benefit Legion Baseball. Memorials and condolences may be sent in Marion’s name to Walker Funeral Home 410 Medical Arts Court, Gillette, WY 82716. Condolences may also be sent via the website at www.walkerfuneralgillette.com.
