NPS extends comment period for Colter Bay project

MOOSE, Wyo. — The National Park Service is giving the public more time to comment on redevelopment plans for Colter Bay Village in Grand Teton National Park.
Public comment is now being accepted through Sept. 20. The deadline had been this Thursday.
Grand Teton plans to redevelop the area at a cost of $9.5 million because the visitor center is old and has numerous deficiencies.
The visitor center was built in the late 1950s.
