The Northern Wyoming Community College District board of trustees will meet in Gillette on Oct. 25 to unveil its strategic plan for increasing its completion rates over the next decade.
That meeting and dinner will take place at 5:30 p.m. and include Paul Young, the president of the college district. He will introduce the strategic plan for the next eight to 10 years for Gillette College and Sheridan College. One of the major tasks of the colleges will be to increase the graduation or certification rates of students on both campuses to help meet the demand for trained workers in the nation.
“We want to make it celebratory,” said Mark Englert, vice president of Gillette College. “It’s a big moment and an exciting time for the district and Gillette College.”
