LARAMIE — Mark Nzeocha (en-ZAH’-chuh) is making another transition at Wyoming.
After making one transition by coming to Laramie last fall from Germany, he is now making a transition from linebacker to strong safety with the Cowboys.
As a freshman last season, Nzeocha played in 10 games while starting at linebacker. He recorded 14 total tackles, two pass breakups and had one interception.
But with his move this year to strong safety, Nzeocha says he thinks it’s a better fit for him.
He tells the Laramie Boomerang that he can make plays by using his athleticism and speed.
