Olive Harriet Quinnell

Olive Harriet Quinnell, 92, of Sidney, Mont., mother of a Gillette man, died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, at the Good Shepherd Home in Watford City, N.D.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Faith Alliance Church in Sidney with the Rev. Paul Turek officiating.
Burial will be in the Richland Memorial Park Cemetery in Sidney under the direction of the Fulkerson Funeral Home of Sidney.
She was born Oct. 17, 1919, in Sidney, the daughter of Harry and Vivian (Barnes) Kruger.
She grew up on the family ranch and attended grade school at Squaw Gap. She graduated from Sidney Senior High School and assisted her parents on the family ranch.
She married Leonard Quinnell on June 2, 1948, in Williston, N.D. They made their home on his ranch in the Squaw Gap area. They moved to the Kruger ranch in 1970, which continued to be their home until April of 2001, when they moved to Sidney.
She lived in Sidney and also spent some time with family in Trinidad, Colo., until January 2009 when she entered the Good Shepard Home in Watford City.
Mrs. Quinnell is survived by two sons including Pete of Gillette; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Hazel Larson of Sidney; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Leonard.
