Open house planned tonight on safe routes to school plan

An open house to receive public comments on Safe Routes to School will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Gillette.
The meeting, sponsored by the City of Gillette and Campbell County School District, is to discuss the community’s vision for walking and bicycling to school.
The City of Gillette, Town of Wright, school district and county are developing a safe route to school travel plan.
Parents and students are invited to attend the meeting at Twin Spruce Junior High to discuss and provide feedback on the plan. The session is open to anyone interested.
