ROOT SPORTS to televise 6 UW games

LARAMIE, Wyo. — Six Wyoming men's basketball games will be televised on ROOT SPORTS this season.

The home games to be televised are Colorado on Dec. 1, Boise State on Jan. 9, Air Force on Jan. 26, New Mexico on Jan. 30 and Colorado State on March 6. Wyoming's March 2 road game at New Mexico also will be televised.

The Cowboys are part of an agreement between DIRECTV Sports Networks, the parent company of ROOT SPORTS, and Learfield Sports to broadcast a package of 14 Mountain West men's basketball games this season.

ROOT SPORTS Rocky Mountain is available on cable and satellite providers in approximately 3 million homes throughout Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Idaho and New Mexico.

Wyoming also will have four games aired on Time Warner Cable SportsNet and CBS Sports Network.
