Road closures

Seventh Street: It closes Tuesday from its intersection with Rockpile Boulevard to its intersection with 4J Road. It will remain closed through Oct. 31 for work to repair waterlines. No through traffic will be permitted, but local access will be maintained. This closure will also extend out 10 feet into 4J Road, but no lane closures on 4J Road are anticipated. Drive with caution in this area, as construction workers will be on site. This work is for waterline repairs on Seventh Street and Rockpile Boulevard.
Lakeway Road: A contractor began crack sealing Lakeway Road between Highway 59 to Dogwood Avenue on Monday. The project will begin at Highway 59 and progress westward down Lakeway Road toward Dogwood Avenue for about 20 days. Lakeway Road will be open to through traffic at all times, with only one lane closed at a time to perform this work.
Rohan Avenue: It is closed through Oct. 26 from the intersection of Eighth Street and Rohan Avenue to the intersection of Ninth Street and Rohan Avenue. The closure is for the installation of new water main and roadway rehabilitation. It is an extension of a previous closure for this project.
Eighth Street: It is closed through Oct. 26 from the intersection of Eighth Street and 4J Road to the intersection of Eighth Street and Stocktrail Avenue for the installation of new water main and roadway rehabilitation. It is an extension of a previous closure.
