Road closures

Sixth Street: From Highway 59 to about 150 east of the Sixth Street/Highway 59 intersection closed Wednesday and will remain closed through Nov. 9 to allow a contractor to remove asphalt and locate the water main. A scheduled water shutdown is scheduled for Nov. 1. Upon completion of the water shutdown, the street will be backfilled and asphalt and concrete items will be replaced.
Alleyway: The alley behind 307 S. Brooks Ave. will be closed from Wednesday through Friday to allow the contractor to repair the sewer line.
