Memorial services for Robert Shadursky will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at Walker Funeral Home in Gillette with Father Cliff Jacobson of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church officiating.
Robert “Bob” Joseph Shadursky, 49, of Gillette, passed away Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012.
Robert was born on Feb. 5, 1963, in Sewickley, Pa., to John and Mary (Chadish) Shadursky.
He graduated the class of 1982 from Moon Senior High School in Moon Township, Pa.
When Robert was young, he was an enthusiastic athlete and an awarded wrestler. His youthful passion for the little blessings in life was expressed daily and became one of his signature traits.
Robert had a great impact on his family and friends. Many who knew him could recount their fondest moments with Robert as both extraordinary and instructive. His closest friends and most rewarding work experience came from his employment at the Buckskin Coal Mine in Gillette. He was honored to be part of the Energy Capital of the World and considered his relationship with his co-workers one of the greatest joys of his life. He was greatly loved and will be sorely missed.
Robert is survived by his daughters, Molly Shadursky of Bellingham, Wash., and Amber Trumpower of Crofton, Md.; his son, John Shadursky of Nevada, Iowa; his brothers, John Shadursky of Lititiz, Pa., and Ken Shadursky of Lancaster, Pa.; and his mother, Mary Chadish of Lititiz.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, John Shadursky.
