Rock Springs hosting state gymnastics tournament

ROCK SPRINGS — More than 200 gymnasts from around Wyoming are expected to compete in the state championship gymnastics tournament in Rock Springs.
The meet begins Friday afternoon and will continue through late Saturday at the Rock Springs Family Recreation Center.
To compete, gymnasts had to get a qualifying all-around score of 29.
The Rock Springs Rocket-Miner says 14 teams from around the state will be represented. They include clubs from Rock Springs, Worland, Cheyenne, Casper, Gillette, Buffalo, Star Valley, Jackson, Evanston and Laramie.
