Santa gets a helper with text notices

DENVER — Santa is getting another helper this year with text messages that alert children and parents when he’s ready to see them.
Broomfield’s FlatIron Crossing is letting customers electronically reserve a place in line, allowing people to shop until their appointed time arrives.
According to the Denver Post, the Santa Fly By system was well received by customers last weekend when the wait to see Santa Claus stretched more than two hours.
