Funeral services for Sarah Van Woerkom will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at Mount Pisgah Cemetery Shelter Chapel with Kenna Rose officiating.

Burial will follow in Mount Pisgah Cemetery in Gillette.

Visitation was Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at Walker Funeral Home in Gillette.

Sarah Rose Van Woerkom, 23, of Gillette died Saturday, July 7, 2012, as a result of injuries sustained in a vehicle accident.

Sarah was born June 26, 1989, in Gillette, the daughter of Dana Van Woerkom and Toni (Freeman) Helus.

She grew up in Gillette and attended Conestoga Elementary and Sage Valley Junior High before graduating from Campbell County High School.

After high school, she worked at Maurice’s and Marshall’s Jewelry, as well as at the GNC store.

Sarah was a fun-loving girl. She enjoyed reading, shopping, going for bike rides, and she was really into fashion and jewelry.

Her favorite times were spent with family and friends. She was a true princess to all who knew her.

Sarah is survived by her mother, Toni Helus and stepfather, Dan Helus of Gillette; brothers, Jason (Kate) Botelho, Jeff (Heather) Botelho and Desi (Michelle) Botelho, all of Gillette; her sister, Shawna (Tim) Glasser of Gillette; grandmothers, Sammilee Van Woerkom and Joyce Dudley; aunts, LaDeana Dudley, Sue Dudley, Sandy Dudley, Jeannie Dudley, Jeri Dudley, Kira Dudley, Jewel Van Woerkom, Jacque Schutt, Jess Van Woerkom; uncles, Tom Freeman, Billy Dudley, Dan Dudley, Roddy Dudley, Tim Dudley, Pat Dudley, Jarik Dudley, Max Van Woerkom, Michael Van Woerkom and Troy Mallak; her princess in crime, Chelsea Dudley Lambright and her husband Chooch; many cousins; seven nephews; four nieces; and lifelong friends, Alex Hullinger and Raechell O’dell.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dana Van Woerkom, and her grandfathers, Bill Dudley and Roland Van Woerkom
